Reading Fun!

So as many of you know, we are a fairly large Christian homeschooling family.
So any time I come across good Christian books that my kids can read, I am super happy.
(insert dancing emoji, lol)

So imagine my happiness when I find an anthology of 6 books in one hardback, called "Heroes of the Bible?" I immediately requested it from BookLookBloggers. And it is awesome!

(the second photo is from The Cheshire Cat's Looking Glass)

So this is what the book looks like. My kids absolutely love it. Kaylee likes to read it during her afternoon reading time. Caleb is starting to read, and thus tries to read it (although he can only recognize a few 2 & 3 letter words).

It has the stories of Joseph the Dreamer, Noah's Voyage, Elijah God's Mighty Prophet, Moses Leads the People, Brave Queen Esther, and Paul Meets Jesus. These stories are extremely encouraging to (1) trust God and (2) do the RIGHT thing.
Something in this day & age our children need to know and be instilled with early.

The pictures are bright and vivid and the stories stay pretty close to the bible, of course told in a manner that is understandable by children.

And the best part is that it is part of the 'I Can Read' spectrum of books, which allows me to gauge which of my kids can read it alone and who needs help.

{FYI: If you didn't catch it in the post, I got this book for FREE from BookLookBloggers in exchange for my HONEST opinion.}
