This World...This Life

Where are you in this growing world? By that I mean what are you doing with your life? What are you doing to contribute to the world? Or are you subtracting from it? We have so much going on in this world that for some people they don't know if they're coming or going. Are you getting an education or already have one? Are you being a positive influence for the generation behind you? The youth are our future. After we've done our part it'll be up to them to do their part. Granted my generation is the generation now but the generation after me needs our help to steer them onto the right track. Many of them are losing sight of what really matters. Life is bigger than them and what they want. There are people in other countries who wish they had what we have. People who wish they have the freedom and liberties that we have. So take advantage of it..and don't take it for granted.

Look at the economy right now... People are having such a hard time gaining employment. And many of us are realizing that to have a good job you need a good education. A high school education isn't good enough anymore. And having an associates degree helps but its not the same as having a bachelor's degree or even a master's degree. Impart that upon our youth! Teach them to value their education..to take advantage of the government funds to get their education. Take advantage of the scholarships. Push them. Think of the Chinese culture. Chinese kids have no choice but to get an education, its ingrained in them upon  conception. In China those kids go to school year round and their entire lives are based upon how well they do in secondary school. Its something I really wish American kids had. Just think if American parents and school systems were as strict as Chinese parents and school systems just how different would our youth be.
