Great Mood

Having a great day? So am I.
Just wanted to let you know that your great mood should never be ruined. Don't ever allow anyone to ruin something so awesome. I tell you this because people will always try to ruin your good mood, especially if they aren't in a good place themselves.
And share your great mood! It could be just a smile or a laugh. And it can make all the difference!

Peace and blessings to you!

Statistics

Have you noticed that women outnumber men? Well if you are paying attention you have noticed. And one thing I have noticed is that women have these "LISTS" that have the standards that men must meet in order to be "MARRIAGE MATERIAL". I have completely shaken my head and wagged my finger at the women who have these lists!

Women you have to open your EYES and realize that many of may Never get married because of this ratio! And you have the nerve to be beyond picky. Yes I understand that many of us are educated, so we want our man to be educated. But have you thought about the fact that some men are not where they want to be but are on their way there? YES its true. For instance would you want a handsome educated man to tell you, you aren't worthy of being his woman because you aren't educated yet, or finished with your education? No you'd be INSULTED.

So don't insult a man by saying the same thing to him. This is especially true of Black women. Black women will tell a man quick you don't have enough money or you not educated so get to steppin'! When really you need to look at that man's work ethic, his character, and find out what is his goals and ambition. You may be surprised to find out that man is everything you've ever wanted.

More over, many women need to get over the thought that you're going to marry some wealthy man! Its hardly liable to happen unless you get lucky. But nowadays its very likely you will marry an average man with above-average qualities! Be appreciative of what you do have.

Now this is not to say that every man is Prince Charming, because that is not true. I am just saying Ladies lower your standards to give the everyday man a chance to show you that he's more than worthy of your time.

Opportunity

I just read a tweet on twitter that read, "IF YOU CAN'T FIND A JOB, INVENT ONE." It made a lot of sense for someone like me, who has decent qualifications, but is still in need of a job. However the hard part is figuring out a job to "invent" for myself. I would like to do something along the lines of life coaching. I thought of life coaching because I have a gift a seeing the good in everything however I can be brutally honest. And everyone that I give advice to, they listen and take action on it.
So I think I will start into life coaching. First by doing free sessions. Just so people can see how good I am, then after that start charging, a light fee for my services. Similar to Shanel Cooper-Sykes method of life coaching. Even going to far as to maybe hold small classes or seminars on important topics.

Attitude of Gratitude

There are so many things in life that we have to be grateful for. Think of the food you have to eat. Think of the internet you are using right now. Think of the job you have...the car you drive. Think of the fact, you opened your eyes this morning.
An attitude of gratitude, means to be thankful for everything you have received and everything you have yet to receive. It means to always look at the glass half FULL. It means to always say thank You.
An attitude of gratitude can sometimes be the difference between a great day and a sour day. It can be the difference between more blessings and never seeing another blessing. It can be the difference between having the best in life and having the worst. Its also the difference between PROGRESS AND STAGNATION.

Learn to say thank you. It will change your life, it will change your experiences, it will also change people's response to you.

Decisions

I have come to this decision. I want to do something more fulfilling. I enjoy what I am learning in accounting. However I have noticed that there are plenty of people who ask for my advice and when I give it. They act on it. And the results are usually good. So I'm guessing I give good advice and I am able to give out plans of action for people. I wonder if I could try out life coaching, to see if I can actually help someone center their life.

Reflection on Church Today

Today my pastor {Dan Willis of Lighthouse of All Nations church} had such an encouraging and very truthful sermon, that I had to share.

Ask yourself this question, how often do you give generously? And how often do you give generously to God? Now just think if you gave more to God, how much more he would restore to you. Many of us, always give grudgingly as if we do not want to give at all. Now how would you feel if that was the way God bestowed his blessings upon us.

Now think of how you pray to God. Many of us pray and are always asking God for things/money for ourselves. So what if you changed your prayer to, God I ask that you bless me to be fortunate enough to be able to bless my ministry with 100,000.00? That prayer is asking God to help you bless Him and His ministry. See if you worry about what God needs, then He'll worry about your needs... Tell God thank You for what He's doing for you. Tell Him thank You for blessing you so you can bless the ministry.

Make a promise for 30 days to ONLY pray for a blessing to be a blessing to God's ministry. Do not pray for yourself or anything to benefit your household. Wait and see the turn around. Wait and see how well God blesses you to bless Him. Wait and see that all your needs and wants are met, because you are taking care of God's needs.

Ask God to have His Will for you, guide your life. Ask that your carnal desires be snuffed out and that you only desire to please God and do God's Will.
